can my family wear fanny packs on the rides

    Hi Carla!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!  Thanks so much for sending your question to us today.

It's a great idea to have some type of small, wearable bag with you during the day when you're in the parks.  I usually take a small backpack or crossbody bag to hold things I'll need, like my wallet, phone and sunglasses.  A fanny pack is certainly another popular option...in fact, my mom often visits Walt Disney World with my family and she's never without her beloved "Grammie pack," as we call it.

You're quite welcome to take your bags with you on the attractions and your family shouldn't have any trouble wearing your fanny packs during the ride.  You'll also have the option, if you prefer, to remove them and store them in a compartment under your seat, on the seatback in front of you, on the side of your seat or on the floor by your feet (the storage options vary from one attraction to another).  If there isn't a secure compartment, I like to loop the strap around my leg to be sure it stays in place, especially on bigger thrill rides like The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror and Space Mountain.

Wishing your family an absolutely magical vacation, Carla!  Please visit us here again if we can help add any other pixie dust to your trip!
