My family has been to WDW many times, I am just hearing about Community Halls at some of the resorts, can you tell me about them please?

    Hi Melissa,

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your great question! I don’t know about you, but it seems to me that the more I vacation at the Walt Disney World Resort, the more things I find to do there! While I LOVE my time in the theme parks, there’s really “A Whole New World” of fun offered at other locations around the most magical place on earth!

You’ll find Community Hall locations where the whole family can have some fun and unwind a bit at Disney’s Old Key West Resort, Disney’s Saratoga Resort & Spa, Disney’s BoardWalk Villas, Bay Lake Tower at Disney’s Contemporary Resort, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom Villas – Kidani Village. In each one, you’ll find a variety of games like ping pong, foosball, or air hockey. Feel free to hang out and enjoy video games, crafts, coloring pages, and more while you're there. At times, there are even special activities offered you may sign up for! Of course, if you'd prefer to relax in your own room, you may sign out DVDs, books, or games from Community Hall, too. It really makes for a nice change of pace if you’d like to enjoy a little bit of time at your Resort hotel or simply have something fun to do on a rainy day! Just note that at this time, Community Halls are only available for current Guests of each particular Resort hotel. If you're staying at a location with a Community Hall, though, I definitely recommend checking it out!

Please let us know if you have any other questions as you’re planning your trip, Melissa, and have a truly magical vacation!
