    My family is going to WDW Sept 12-14 & we are staying at the Cont. How long does guest registration take? Our plane lands at MCO @ 12:35 & we are using ME. I want to make sure we can make out late lunch ADR at WCC. How does travel take? Best m

    Hi Debbe,

    You are less than a month away from vacation! Though you did not mention a time to eat at the Whispering Canyon Cafe, I think you will have a difficult time making this reservation. You should, provided there are no delays, be at the Contemporary by about 1:30 pm. To get to the Wilderness Lodge, you will need to take a resort boat which should take about 10 minutes to travel between the two resorts.

    Now if you were not planning to go straight to the parks after lunch, you could go straight to lunch and then back to the Contemporary to check in. The length of time to check in varies depending on the day and the amount of guests checking in.

    I hope you do make your reservation as Whispering Canyon Cafe is my favorite restaurant.
