My family and I will be going to WDW in October. We will not be attending the Not so Scary Holloween Party, but my six year old son would like to wear a costume to the parks. Does his costume have to be Disney related, or can he wear a superhero costume?

    Hi Jennifer,
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is undoubtedly my favorite special event-I've already been twice this year! Your son's costume doesn't have to be Disney related and his superhero costume would be more than appropriate. I would suggest, however that you ensure that he still has good visibility, he isn't carrying sharp objects and nothing is dragging on the ground. Put on some comfy footwear and you'll be on your way to having a great time! My favorite things about this special event are Mickey's "Boo-To-You" Halloween Parade and Happy HalloWishes, the evening fireworks display, so be sure to catch those if you can. You will be happy that you did!

Jennifer, I hope you and your family have a great visit!! Enjoy the party!

    Best HalloWishes,
    Amy B.
