My family and I are going to WDW in October. We are staying at Coronado ( hope thats a good choice) and going to MNSSHP. Can you give suggestions on hotel AND COSTUMES for kids. Thanks for your help. WE ARE SO EXCITED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi, LeAnne!  One of the things I love about going to Walt Disney World is that you sometimes feel like you are taking a vacation in the middle of your vacation because of the unique theming of the resorts.  Coronado Springs is one of my favorite resorts for that reason.  Large and sprawling, the resort gives you the feeling that you are in a Southwestern resort, with a gorgeous pool and amazing landscaping.  I also think for a moderate resort, it has a very deluxe feel to it, and I love that!

As for costumes, you can either purchase costumes in a number of locations in the Walt Disney World resort area (you'll find them in resort gift shops, theme park gift shops and at Downtown Disney).  I usually let my girls choose at home what they want to be for Halloween, then I pack those with me.  You'll see a lot of Disney themed costumes while you wander around Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween party, but anything goes!

Have a great vacation!  I'm so excited for you!
