My family will be in WDW from 24th October through to 15th November. I have seen photos of characters dressed in Christmas and Winter costumes and wanted to know do they dress like this from a specific date or when it drops below a certain temperature?

    Hi Melissa,

What a great question! The characters are such a magical part of vacationing at the Walt Disney World Resorts.

During your stay, you might see a character in a Halloween costume especially if you attend the Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party. This party is an extra ticket but worth it to see shorter lines and experience special parades and go trick or treating in the Magic Kingdom.

Characters will get dressed for the Winter Holidays after Thanksgiving until Christmas but you may see a few winter hats and minutes afterwards. Princesses may add a coat or cloak to keep them warm.

    Wishing you a magical vacation!
