Hi, Joyce! I can't guarantee that these times will be the same this year, but at last year's Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party the Mickey's "Boo-to-You" Halloween Parade occurred at 8:15 and 10:30 P.M. with the Happy HalloWishes fireworks presentation sandwiched in between at 9:30 P.M. Trick- or-treating is scattered throughout the park and is available all night.
What to expect: The Magic Kingdom is decked out in its Halloween finest - including ghosts on Main Street, U.S.A. FAvorite characters sport their costumes, too. Guests of all ages attend in costume, but it isn't required. Because the number of Guests is limited, you can ride almost every attraction during the party time frame, especially if you follow my family's lead and skip the Trick-or-treat locations. Your sixteen-year-old should love hitting the attractions with very little wait time. HalloWishes is the holiday-themed fireworks presentation that you can only see on party nights. The Boo-to-You parade is one of my family's favorites. Watch for the Haunted Mansion Cast Members; they are my favorite part. For the last few years, there has been a special treat if you find a spot in Liberty Square just prior to the parade. Mr. Knickerbocker tells "The Legend of Sleepy Hollow." It ends just as the parade is off to a galloping start. I don't want to give exact details here, but it is amazing. Check the website
here for the dates. As in years past, there is an advance purchase discount for most nights, so take advantage of that if you can. Happy haunting!
