My family and I are going to WDW for 5nights and than travelling on the Fantasy for 7 nights in May. My son wets to bed,he is very embarassed by it ! I am wondering how we can ensure his bed has protective sheets on it prior to getting there?

    Ahoy Jennifer!

A Walt Disney World vacation followed by seven nights on the Disney Fantasy sounds like a vacation of a lifetime to me!  Your crew must be sooooo excited!

We have dealt with bed wetting issues in my family, and I think you are smart to plan ahead because you don't want anything to spoil your family's fun.  I suggest packing waterproof pads or a twin waterproof sheet that can be purchased at a store like Walmart or Target.  Either of these can be folded very flat and can easily be placed underneath the regular bed sheets.   Since your son is embarrassed by the situation, I would discretely speak with housekeeping at your resort and your stateroom host or hostess on the cruise about the waterproof items.  When they change the sheets daily, they will be happy to launder these items as well.   These things happen all the time, and the castmembers will be glad to work with you to make your son feel as comfortable as possible.

I hope my suggestions help with your planning.  If you think of anything else before you depart, please let me know!

Have a magical day and wonderful surf & turf vacation!
