My family is going to WDW in May. We have been there several times and are looking for some different things to do, besides just touring the parks and dining experiences. We're staying on property and our daughter is 5. Any suggestions?

    Hi Jessica,

I hope you and your family have a great time in May at WDW.  Did you ever consider taking one of the tours available at Disney? I took a tour during my training in December and learned to appreciate the Magic Kingdom in a new way.

The Disney's Family Magic Tour looks like it may give you a new experience.  It makes you a detective in Magic Kingdom for about two hours.  http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/wdw/parks/tourDetail?id=DisneysFamilyMagicTourTourPage

Also, you can view the fireworks at Epcot on a pontoon boat or explore Downtown Disney for the various attraction such as DisneyQuest or Cirque Du Soleil.  At Fort Wilderness, there are pony rides to enjoy.  For a complete list of kids activities, check out this link for your princess, http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/wdw/moreMagic/otherRecDetail?id=OtherRecKidsProgramsDetailPage.

Finally, ask your resort what activities do they have for guest such as raising the flag at Wilderness Lodge or opening the Keister Coaster at the Boardwalk.

Enjoy your vacation and tell your princess to remember to shine her tiara!
