Hi moms my family is going to WDW in June super excited but question is I see all sorts of places to buy park tickets but which is best get from the Disney site or can I get from a discount site or would I be taking a chance on getting duped? thanks

    Hi Shandi!

Yeay! Your trip is approaching fast! I'm sure it i will be here before you know it!

Personally, while I have purchased from authorized resellers of Walt Disney World tickets like Undercover Tourist, I do feel a bit better when I purchase from Disney directly but as long as you do your homework and research to make sure the third party seller is an Authorized Disney Ticket retailer, it should be ok. The best bet is to price out tickets at a few different places and compare the prices. You'll then be able to see how much you are saving and if purchasing elsewhere is worth it.

Under no circumstances should you buy from Craigslist or Ebay. Beware of tickets claiming to have a few days left. I hate to say it, but nearly all of these are scams and you'll have no recourse in getting a refund if the tickets are fraudulent. AND, at each park entry there is a biometric scanner which pairs the ticket holder to the ticket. In these cases, it really is buyer beware! It really isn't worth the chance!

Hope you have a great vacation! Please be sure to let the Moms Panel know if we can help with additional planning details!
