    My family is going to WDW in June. We r staying at Port Oleans Riverside Resort. We stayed last year @ Movie Resort and my sons loved it. I am excited about staying @ POR but am concerned that it will not offer enough for kids. Can u set my mind @ ease.

    Hi Misti, Rest assured, that your family is going to love Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside!  I have also stayed at Disney's All-Star-Movies Resort with my children and although the theming is great for children, I think you will find even more offerings for kids at Port Orleans Riverside. I visited the Port Orleans Resort - Riverside in December and loved the rural Louisiana setting. Some of the recreational activities offered at this relaxing Disney Moderate Resort include bike rentals, horse-drawn carriage rides, watercraft rentals, Medicine Show Arcade, and six pools. The 3.5 acre Ol' Man Island features an extensive pool complex complete with a curved water slide, a forested playground, and a cane pole fishing hole for catch and release fishing. One of the differences in Disney's Value and Moderate Resorts are the addition of a water slide at the feature pools at Moderate Resorts. There will also be organized pool side activities for the kids to enjoy!  I think your kids will get a kick out of riding the Sassagoula River Cruise ferry to Downtown Disney!  One of our favorite things about going back to Disney time and time again is trying all of the amazingly different Walt Disney World Resorts. It makes each vacation unique and each time we go we seem to find a new favorite!  I hope I have eased your mind, Misti. Please let me know if I can offer any additional information for you.
