Ahoy, Yahnique!
June is right around the corner so your vacation is quickly approaching! I'm also planning a visit to the Walt Disney World Resort next month and can't wait to dive into some delicious
dining myself. My mouth is watering just thinking about indulging in some delectable cuisine at some of my favorite dining locations on property!
I'm glad you sent in this question because there are a few important things to know about making advance dining reservations for your upcoming vacation. Most restaurants do not ask for payment in advance, but do require a credit card to guarantee your spot. This card will not charged unless you do not cancel 24 hours in advance and are a no-show. In that case, it is typically $10.00 per person. You can easily cancel by calling (407) 939-1947 or through
My Disney Experience on your computer or on the mobile app.
Like I mentioned above, there are a few restaurants that require full payment at the time of booking. These can still be canceled for a full refund as long as it is done by the 24-hour window.
Here is the current list:
Mickey's Backyard BBQ
Hoop-Dee-Do Musical Revue
Cinderella's Royal Table
Disney's Spirit of Aloha Dinner Show
Yahnique, even though you are reserving your Table-Service meals with your credit card, you can absolutely pay with cash! Another idea is to purchase some Disney Gift Cards, as they can be loaded with up to $1000.00 each and are easy to keep up with in the parks. Your most up-to-date balance will be listed on your receipt once you make a purchase, and you can manage your cards and find your balance on the
Disney Gift Card website as well.
Bon appétit!
