    Hi, our family will be at wdw from July 3rd to July 9th we be celebrating my little girls 8th birthday what are the things i will need the most to bring to make sure she is safe and well any suggestions

    Cherise,

    While Walt Disney World is a very safe place for families, it is always good to hear that a parent is thinking of their child's safety. It will be a busy time, so it is essential to think of what you can do to prepare for the unlikely but possible event that she might get separated from you. Here are a few things we do;

    1. Every morning we take a picture of our girls with our digital camera. If they get lost, we have something to show cast members so they can see what they look like and what they are wearing
    2. We have them each carry a "lost child" card that we make. It has our cell phone number, the resort hotel number, our names, and other basic information.
    3. When entering a park the very first day of our trip we introduce our girls to a cast member. We tell them how to ask a cast member for help and how to show their card.

    After that, let it go. Relax, enjoy yourself, and know that Disney is on the job. They do a lot that we don't see to keep us all safe and happy. If she does get separated from you, the cast members are AMAZING at being helpful in getting you guys back together!

    I hope that this helps? If you need more, please don't hesitate to send me a question from my bio page!

    Have a magical vacation!
