Hello- my family will be at WDW during Easter. Will there be services offered on Easter Sunday on property?

Hoppy day, Mildred, and welcome to planDisney! Springtime at Walt Disney World Resort is one the best times to visit, so you and your family are in for a magical treat. Easter also coincides with the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival, so check out everything in bloom there. I love the Disney character topiaries, and the Garden Rocks Concert Series is an "eggcellent" way to end the day.

Mildred, I spoke to a friendly Cast Member who told me it's a little early for an official Easter schedule. However, she said to keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog for announcements in mid to late March. I looked at previous Easters, and I see that church services have been offered at Disney's Contemporary Resort in the Fantasia Ballroom in past years, so I'm sending a bonnet full of pixie dust to get some news about this year's services soon. You can also check at the front desk of your Disney Resort Hotel when you arrive to see if they have any additional news or updates.

One of the most unique Easter displays in past years has been at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa, where there's been a phenomenal display of chocolate egg sculptures. Again, this has yet to be confirmed for this spring, but I'm watching the official Disney websites for news.

Regardless of specific activities, I know your family will have a basket full of fun during your upcoming visit, Mildred. My Easter-gloved fingers are crossed! Stop by planDisney anytime.

    Magic awaits,
    Elaine
