Hello! My family is going to WDW (Dec 14-21). One of the main reasons were going is New Fantasyland especially hoping to get a chance to see the Beast. I've been having trouble finding where he has a meet and greet. Any info would be grately appreciated!

    Hi Alodie,

Until recently, the Beast often greeted guests with Belle near the France pavilion at Epcot. This occurred intermittently from 11:00 a.m. until 5: 00 p.m. most days. My understanding is that while Belle is still at this location, the Beast rarely accompanies her there now. While it would make sense that he would be moved to his castle at the new Fantasyland, I haven't seen any evidence that this is currently happening. Which means that as of right now, there is not a regularly scheduled Beast meet and greet area.

The Beast is one of my favorites, so I very much hope that this changes soon and he gets added to the character greeting lists again.

Just in case something changes (and I hope it does), I encourage you to stop by any theme park guest relations office when you arrive at Walt Disney World. Ask them to call the "character hotline" for you. The hotline can tell them exactly where and when every character is appearing at the parks that day. They will have the most up-to-the-minute news about the Beast.

    Good luck!
