Our family will be at WDW from 8/11 to 8/14. How busy will the parks be at that time of the year ? I don't know when the new school year starts in the USA. Can we expect The Americans will get ready for it instead of being in the parks ? Thanks !

    Hi Myriam!

Schools in the United States start back at various times throughout August and September. My son's school actually starts earlier than many, which is August 17, but many school's do not start back until after Labor Day. The crowd levels in August start off high and gradually taper off as September nears. I visit touringplans dot com to check out the crowd levels, as they use a sophisticated system to rate the crowds on a scale of 1-10. It looks like when you visit, the crowds will be in the "8" and "9" range.

Just make sure that you visit the parks early and you are at the park during rope drop. Also come prepared with a schedule of your top five "must-see" attractions, so you won't feel stressed to see everything.

Please let me know if I can help you with anything else!

    Magically,
    Stacy
