My family wants to stay on site at Disney World for the first time. Dilemma is we need a resort with either a bedroom door or connecting rooms for our children's privacy. We need to know what options there are to see if any can fit in our budget.

    Hi Carla,

Having a separate space for your children has become easier at the Walt Disney World Resort! My husband and I never minded the studio because we were so tired, we just went right to sleep.

The family suites at Disney's All-Star Music Resort and Disney's Art of Animation Resort will provide you separate sleeping areas, two bathrooms and a kitchenette. While this is more expensive than two rooms, the single space and the kitchenette make it a better deal in my books.

Most resorts have connecting rooms. You will want to make sure you specify you want connecting rooms in your reservation or you may not receive it.

    Wishing you a magical vacation!
