Our family of 4 wants to do the Hoop Dee Doo Revue on our first night. Our flight lands at 3pm, so I need reservations for the 6:15 pm show. I was able to get 3 seats, but not the 4th. If I can't get it, what are my chances of walking up on the day of.

    Hi Susan,

I love the Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue! It is one of my family's favorite things to do at the Walt Disney World Resort!

I highly recommend not booking this dinner show or any other dinner reservations on your first night at Walt Disney World. Working for an airline, there are so many things that can go wrong with getting your flight to arrive on time from weather to mechanical issues. I would not want you stressing about losing your reservation for your first night because of a travel issue.

If you do continue with the reservation on the first night, I am not sure there will be an extra walk-up seat. Every show fills to a different capacity. If only three seats are available, your chances are not as good. Some of the seating is at long tables along the railings which multiple families sit together. This could be why only three seats are available. Plus, if a single seat is available, they may not be able to locate it with the other three.

If you are looking for a fun dinner on your first night, Downtown Disney has fun options like Bongos Cuban Cafe, Wolfgang Puck Grand Cafe and Raglan Road Irish Pub and Restaurant.

    Wishing you a magical vacation!
