My family and I are wanting to go to the Character Dining on the last day that we are visiting Disney World. Do I have to be rooming at a resort to go? Do we have to have park passes to get into the Character Dining event? I'm confused...Please help! :)

Hi, Amy! Guests do NOT have to stay on-site to make dining reservations.  All meals, including character dining, are open to anyone.  I suggest you make your Advance Dining Reservations as soon as you can.  As you get closer to your travel time, there will be fewer and fewer open spots.  You can make your reservations online on the Where to Eat page, or by calling (407) WDW-DINE or (407) 939-3463.  You will only need park tickets if the character dining you choose is inside a park.  You can dine at any of the resorts without having theme park tickets.   Happy planning and have a Magical vacation!
