Our family is volunteering a whole week of our time to run our Vacation Bible School (VBS) for our church. Does this count as a volunteer experience to get a free ticket to Disney World?

While all volunteering is wonderful, not all volunteering counts in Disney's "Give a Day, Get a Disney Day" promotion. Whether your volunteering counts depends on whether it is on an approved list. According to the Frequently Asked Questions about this program (found HERE on the WDW website):

"The program’s eligible volunteer opportunities are made available solely by or through HandsOn Network (“HON”), Points of Light Institute and their affiliates."

Beginning on January 1, 2010, a list of approved volunteer experiences will be noted on the Disney Webstie HERE. Perhaps you will find another great way to contribute on this list.
