I have family visitng from out of town. Can I purchase socal resident tickets for all of us or do we all have to show an ID? Also can I just go with them one day and show my ID and not go the other days?

Hi, Margaret and welcome to planDisney! What a special visit you have coming up with family! I love your idea of spending time together at the Happiest Place on Earth. There's no better place, in my opinion, to experience the magic of family and togetherness.

It looks like they'll be here during the Food & Wine Festival in California Adventure too! One of my favorite parts about this particular festival (besides the delicious food offerings, of course) is the return of Soarin' Over California, for a limited time. Show off your beautiful state to your family through this incredible attraction. They'll love it!

Sounds like you're interested in taking advantage of the limited Southern California Resident Ticket offer. Another great idea! This special 3-day, one park per day ticket is for Guests who reside within ZIP codes 90000 and 93599 only. Any Guest using this SoCal Resident Ticket must show proof of Southern California residency at the park entrance with a government-issued photo ID, which means a California driver's license or California ID showing proof of eligible residency.

If you are able to provide the required California photo ID, Margaret, then you would be able to purchase (and use) the 3-day, one park per day SoCal Resident Ticket for $199 USD for yourself - an amazing deal! Park Hopper ticket upgrade and Lightning Lane Multi Pass can be added for additional fees. You'd then be welcome to visit three times from now through May 15, 2025 - subject to theme park reservation availability.

Your family visiting from out of state would need to purchase the standard Disneyland Theme Park Tickets, as they wouldn't be able to show proof of Southern California residency. Prices vary depending on date of visit and ticket type. However, if anyone in the family is between the ages of 3 to 9, they qualify for the Kids' Special Ticket Offer - another fantastic deal!

I'm sorry, Margaret, if this isn't quite the news you were hoping for, but I hope the information has been helpful and maybe encourages you to take advantage of the amazing SoCal Resident Ticket offer! If you have any additional questions about an upcoming visit to the Happiest Place on Earth with your family, or you'd like me to share some of my tips and recommendations to have a truly magical visit with them, please stop by again anytime.

    Warmest wishes,
    McCayla
