My family will be visiting WDW this summer (I know it will be busier, but I am a teacher and this is when I have off). I have a 3 year old and will have a 4 month old. Suggestions on places to stay? I want something that will be memorable & easy.

Hi, Ashley!  I think any of the resorts at Walt Disney World are memorable for various reasons, so I'll suggest some of my family's favorites.

If you are looking for resorts on the monorail, which makes getting back and forth from the Magic Kingdom and EPCOT very easy, our favorite is the Grand Floridian.  We really enjoy the Victorian feel of the resort, and the bright, expansive lobby area.  There are also some wonderful restaurants here, including character meals, so it's very convenient for a lot of things we like to do.

Another favorite deluxe resort is Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge.  If you request a savanna view room, you might wake up in the morning to find a giraffe enjoying breakfast just outside your window.  It is a unique experience that I don't think you can enjoy anywhere else.

Port Orleans Riverside, which is one of my favorites because of it's smaller size, has new Royal Guest rooms.  You'll feel a bit like you've entered a castle, and your three year old might like some of the special touches.  Caribbean Beach resort has pirate themed rooms, which are just as cool, and there is a great pirate ship water play area for the little ones.

Finally, one of the most incredible resorts for a more budget conscious pocket book is the Art of Animation resort.  These are bright and beautiful, themed after some of the most popular Disney movies.  The family suites there will offer you a microwave, two full bathrooms, and a small refrigerator, all of which can come in quite handy traveling with little ones.

I hope this has given you some directions to explore!  If you have any other questions, you know just where to find me!
