Hola Ryan,
Bienvenidos a planDisney! Thanks for bringing your delectable
Walt Disney World Resort Dining question to us.
When you talk about dining at
San Angel Inn Restaurant at
EPCOT, you are speaking my language. I love the ambiance, the views, and the food. You have made a great choice, even for your cilantro-averse family member. There is a fiesta full of delicious offerings to choose from! One of my favorite entrees is Pollo a Las Rajas. It is grilled chicken breast served over perfectly seasoned roasted potatoes, onion, poblano peppers, and the most fabulous poblano pepper cream sauce. Now, I’m a cilantro lover and in my experience, there is not a cilantro undertone or taste in this particular item. There are other menu items that use cilantro as a garnish or in the dish, so just ask the Cast Member who serves you if the cilantro can be left out. They will let you know if there are any menu items where that is not possible and will offer suggestions. If you enjoy tequila or mezcal cocktails, you will have plenty to choose from, too!
Remember, you can
make your dining reservations 60 days in advance of your visit. If you hope to combine your dining with a viewing of EPCOT’s evening fireworks and special-effects show,
EPCOT Forever. I encourage you to make those reservations early as evenings tend to get busy, especially around the Mexico pavilion of the World Showcase.
Ryan, just steps away from San Angel Inn is one of my favorite Character Greeting experiences in all of Walt Disney World. Don't miss the chance to meet my amigo,
Donald Duck, in his Three Caballeros attire. You will be saying "Ay caramba!" in no time.
I hope this information gets you on your way to a spectacular meal, Ryan. If you have other questions, please let me and my familia de planDisney know.
Wishing you muchos magical memories,
Shannon
