    Our family of 3 will be visiting WDW in March. Our 7 year old son has autism. We are only going to be able to spend 3 days in WDW. Which 3 parks would you recommend? He is a big Disney "Cars" fan and loves the outdoors and the solar system.

    Hi J K,  How exciting you will be visiting Walt Disney World! Your son is going to love it!! Magic Kindgdom would be my first choice for your son! A "must do" is the Astro Orbiter attraction, which has large scale planets rotating above, as you soar in your very own spacecraft.Your son can drive his own car (you can sit beside him) on the Tomorrowland Speedway. I'm not sure if your son is bothered by dark areas or loud sounds, but Space Mountain is a fun roller coaster where you blast through space! Tom Sawyer Island is a great place for kids to play and explore! Epcot would be my second choice for your son as there are several attractions involving cars and space.Soarin' is one of my favorite attractions! Test Track and Mission:Space are both rides I think your son would like;however, the queue area for Test Track is really loud and Mission:Space could be a little intense for some.You will not want to miss Spaceship Earth or Living With the Land.This last one was a hard one, on the one hand you mentioned that your son loves the outdoors so Animal Kingdom is a great choice for the animals and beautiful landscaping. However, due to his love of "Cars", I am going to say Hollywood Studios would be my third choice. Lightning McQueen and Tow Mater can be found at the Team McQueen headquarters to meet and have photos with. Please know that character greets are subject to change and you can call 407-824-2222 closer to your arrival date to see if these characters will still be at this location. Star Tours is also a great attraction for someone who loves space! Call Disney at 407-824-4321 to inquire about a Guest Assistance Card. I have heard that this card may allow you to have shorter waits for the attractions, avoiding some of the noisy queues.You may be asked to bring a letter from your son's physician.
