    My family will be visiting WDW in July. We are interested in taking advantage of Memory Maker. We understand that we can reassign whose Magic Band it is assigned to. Can reassignment be done through the My Disney Experience App on our SmartPhone?

    Hello John,

    I am so excited to hear you'll be visiting Walt Disney World soon!  I know you're going to have an absolutely magical vacation!  I'm glad to hear you're interested in Memory Maker.  I was able to try it for the first time a few months ago and I fell in love with the service.  Not only is it a great way to get your whole group in the picture, but it makes it so easy to view, share and save the pictures in ways you haven't been able to do with Disney PhotoPass pictures in the past.

    Once you've purchased Memory Maker, everyone in your group can add photos to your account using their own Magic Band, a Memory Maker card or a Disney PhotoPass Card that you've linked to your account.  Just be sure to have everyone in your travel party linked to your My Disney Experience account through My Family & Friends in advance.  

    The assignment of someone as the owner of the entitlement basically just gives one person downloading privileges for your Memory Maker photos at the end of your trip.  If you'd like to reassign the entitlement to someone else, you can do so before you download any photos or otherwise redeem your Memory Maker purchase.  To do this, find Memory Maker in My Reservations in My Disney Experience and choose "Reassign Download Privileges" to make the change.  I just tested this on my own iPhone by accessing the site through the web browser and you can make the change that way or using your computer, but I do not see this option through the My Disney Experience app.
