Hello, Our family is visiting WDW for our first trip this August. We would like our 7 year old son to try and get a spot at the Jedi Training in HS. We have an 8:00 am ADR at Hollywood & Vine. Will he have the opportunity to sign up prior to dining?

    Hi Heather,
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I'm sure you and your young Padawan are so excited about your upcoming trip.

Sign ups for Jedi Training: Trials of the Temple are first come, first served upon park opening. If the park is not yet open at the time of your Advance Dining Reservation, you will not be able to sign up early.  If the parks opens in the middle of your meal, you may consider leaving the restaurant to sign up, then returning once his name is on the list.

Honestly, there is an awesome way to ensure your son has a spot in Jedi Training.  The Star Wars Guided Tour is a fantastic way to immerse yourself in all things Star Wars, including lunch with some very special guests, while helping to restore freedom to the galaxy.  The tour includes a meet and greet with Kylo Ren and Chewbacca, as well as a ride on Star Tours-The Adventure Continues, plus reserved seating for three shows! You have a special seat for Star Wars: A Galaxy Far, Far Away, March of the First Order, and (my personal favorite) Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular.

Heather, I hope this gives you some help for your upcoming trip. Please come back and visit us again soon!

    Best Wishes,
    Amy S.
