Hi, My family and I are visiting WDW for the first time this year. Our 2 children are both fearful of fireworks but we don't want them to miss out (IllumiNations and Wishes). Are there any places where we could watch them from indoors please?

    Hi, Julie!
Thanks for asking your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Walt Disney World Resort's fireworks displays are one of a kind. I understand you wanting to find a way to help your children watch the show while feeling safe.

My best idea for you to enjoy the shows from inside is by watching from a restaurant. For IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth, I'd recommend reserving a late dinner to watch the show from La Hacienda de San Angel in Mexico or The Rose & Crown Dining Room. To watch Wishes Nighttime Spectacular, I'd recommend a late dinner at 'Ohana, California Grill (my favorite view) or Narcoossee’s.

For everything to work out, I'd recommend getting to the restaurant early to let the Cast Members know what you're trying to accomplish during the dinner so they can try to get you a table that works best for your children. There's no guarantee you'll get the perfect seat, but leaving extra room for the Cast Members to prepare for you might help!

I hope your children love the shows! Let me know if I can help with any other questions when you visit the Disney Parks Moms Panel next time!
