    My family will be visiting WDW 12/13-12/19 for the first time and my Mom loves to visit hotel lobby's to explore and look at the Christmas decorations. Is this allowed and if so which resorts would be the best to visit with the most extravagant decor?

    Ashley,

    Resort touring is not only allowed, but encouraged! The lobbies of many of these resorts are a lot of fun to discover. Even the Value and Moderate resorts get in on the game with lovely decor, but for my time here are the ones I would go visit first;

    • Wilderness Lodge
    • Grand Floridian Resort
    • Animal Kingdom Lodge
    • Yacht and Beach Club Resorts
    • BoardWalk Inn

    In particular I love the first two. I love the Wilderness Lodge, because as a log cabin it is just so perfect for that holiday feel. And I love to see the Gingerbread House at the Grand Floridian. It is big enough that they sell gingerbread houses FROM INSIDE the gingerbread house! Really a sight to see!

    Please feel free to ask me any follow-up questions!

    Have a magical vacation!
