Our family is visiting WDW for the first time in December. I'm wondering how much time we will want to spend in the Magic Kingdom. Are there more rides than what is listed under "Attractions" throughout the park, or is that a comprehensive list

Hi Jessica!  You can indeed find a comprehensive listing of the current attractions in the Magic Kingdom at the official website, www.disneyworld.com, or by clicking HERE. Of course there is a constant array of different entertainment that happens throughout the park on any given day.  You might want to stop and listen to the Barbershop Quartet on Main Street or take in the Move It, Shake It, Celebrate It parade three times a day.

You didn't mention the ages of your children so it is hard to estimate how long you would want to enjoy this great park. I usually recommend two days or at least a day and a half to really experience everything.  If you decide to purchase tickets to Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party then perhaps add to that only a regular day in your itinerary.  You can enjoy a lot during the special event parties since the crowds tend to be lower those nights.

My suggestion to all guests is to slow down when visiting the parks. So many feel it is a race to the finish and they fail to enjoy the parks to their fullest.  So much happens and so much to see so you don't want to make it through in record time. Besides there will be many attractions that you will enjoy so much that a second or third time on them will make your visit complete!
