Hiya, Robert! Welcome to planDisney!
I'm thrilled to hear that you and your family will be visiting
Walt Disney World Resort in a few weeks! As a military spouse, I truly understand how quality time is the best gift, and I can't think of a better place to spend that time together! I'd love to help you with planning your magical vacation.
Robert, there are
Special Offers available for Eligible Service Members, who are active and retired members of the military (and their spouses). Eligible Service Members can purchase up to six
Disney Military Salute Tickets either through Morale, Welfare, and Recreation on your local base or mailed to you through
Shades of Green. Personally, my husband and I like to purchase our tickets through Shades of Green because they arrive activated and ready to be used! Since this process can take a few weeks, I would recommend ordering your tickets as soon as you're able. Here's the most important part: once you have your tickets, make sure that you
link your tickets to your
My Disney Experience account and make your
theme park reservations with the Disney Park Pass system. This is an important step to reserve the parks you'd like to visit on each day of your trip! You can even take a peek at the
Theme Park Reservation Availability calendar to see which parks are currently available for your trip.
Eligible Service Members are also offered great rates at
select Disney Resorts Collection hotels. All you need to do is call the number listed on the page and speak to a friendly Cast Member who will help you with your next steps! There is limited availability, so my best tip is to be flexible with your dates and your preferred resorts, if possible. I've found that just shifting my dates by a day or two can open up a whole new world of possibilities!
Of course, you can also look for other
Special Offers that may apply to you and your family, as well. No matter where you stay or what you do, I'm sure you're going to have a magical trip together!
If you have any other questions, please
visit us again! After all, you've got a friend in me.
