My family and I are visiting wdw at the end of April. I am looking for some places to around the parks to get some unique treats to satisfy our sweet tooth. I heard a lot about Disneys dole whips. Are there any others and if so where can we get the them

    Amanda,

There are more sweet treats than I could possibly list in one reply, but let me send you a few of my favorites.

Magic Kingdom (Adventureland, Aloha Isle): DoleWhip
This is a wildly popular treat, for a reason. The pineapple goodness is both decadent and refreshing all at once.

Magic Kingdom (Main Street, U.S.A., Main Street Bakery): Mickey or Minnie Candy Apple
Layers of milk chocolate, caramel, and candy transform an apple into what is my wife's #1 favorite Walt Disney World food - bar none!

Hollywood Studios (Hollywood Boulevard, Starring Rolls Bakery): Butterfinger Cupcake
This behemoth of a cupcake is no looker, but the taste is.

Epcot (France Pavilion, Crepes des Chefs de France): Crepes
There is no way to keep everyone happy. Everyone has a different favorite in the World Showcase, and this is mine.

Animal Kingdom (Africa, Kusafiri Coffee Shop and Bakery): Brownie Paw
Really there are several great choices here. This one just hits all my favorites with chocolate AND buttercreme.

These are just a few of my favorite things. Hey, that sounds like a good theme for a song!

If you have an inclination for a particular kind of sweet, let me know in another question and I can offer more ideas!

Have a magical (and delicious) vacation!
