Our family will be visiting WDW during April school vacation (April 18-23, 2011). If we purchase our tickets on-line prior to our trip, will this help up avoid waiting in long lines to purchase the tickets? Will WDW run out of tickets during this time?

    Hi Theresa,

If you purchase your tickets online, you will save time than purchasing them at the park unless you are less than 7 days to arrival as you will then need to go to Will Call to pick up your tickets. You can pick them up at your Walt Disney World Resort or at Downtown Disney in addition to the other four major parks.

You will not be able to add tickets to your Key to the World card if you purchase your tickets online. While I do not mind having my park ticket and room key separate, some guests like the convenience.

You can purchase your tickets at your Disney Resort which then can link the park ticket with the room key.

As for running out of tickets, Disney will not run out of tickets. A park my reach capacity for the day which happens on days such as Christmas.

    Have a magical vacation!
