My family will be visiting WDW from December 27-January 2nd. I have planned for us to go to Magic Kingdom on December 30th and Epcot for New Year's Eve. Any suggestions of when to visit the other two parks?

Hello there, Donna! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Thanks for stopping back again and allowing us to help you plan your Walt Disney World Resort vacation!

No where in the world is quite as fun as Walt Disney World Resort on New Year’s Eve! You and your family are in for a real treat! Epcot’s World Showcase is known for throwing a variety of celebrations in honor of the New Year that have ranged from “silent raves” at the Japan Pavilion to Latin dance parties at the American Gardens Theatre! Historically, there are also two firework shows on New Year’s Eve. This includes the every day fireworks show and a very special New Year’s Eve finale later in the evening. So be sure you’re entire family is prepared to have a full night of fun!

I have a few recommendations for visiting the other two theme parks. If this is your family’s first time experiencing Pandora- The World of Avatar at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, I would suggest being sure to stop by both during the daylight hours and at night. This way, you will be able to see the complete transformation that this world undergoes once the sun sets! As for Disney’s Hollywood Studios, you may want to plan on visiting as soon as the park opens in order to experience the incredibly popular Toy Story Land. Arriving early would also give you the opportunity to try some delicious breakfast at Woody’s Lunch Box! My last suggestion would be to find time to relax during your stay. It can be easy to forget you need time to rest during such a fun vacation so I always make a point of scheduling down time for me and my family!

I hope you'll find these tips helpful when continuing to plan your vacation!
