My family is visiting WDW in April with two small boys. Due to food allergies, we are trying to plan a lot. My boys want to see Lightning McQueen. I found references here to Luigi's Garage at DHS but can't find it on the maps. Can you help?

    Hi Heather,

April will be here before you know it. It is always a great idea to plan ahead, as I think guests that just "show up" at Disney World miss out on so much.

You will find Disney World is a perfect place to be when dealing with food allergies. The restaurants and chefs are very good at handling dietary concerns and working with the guests to help find the best options for you and your family. Be sure to mention the allergy concerns when you make your dining reservations as well as when you check in for your meal and to your waiter/waitress.

As for Lightning McQueen, your boys will be happy to hear they can visit with him and Mater at Hollywood Studios throughout the day. Luigi's garage is located in the rear of Hollywood Studios just past the Lights Motors theatre and just outside the exit doors from the MuppetsVision 3D theatre. If you are familiar with Hollywood Studios, the garage is where Al's Toy Barn use to be prior to Buzz and Woody finding a new home on Pixar Ave. If you are still lost, head to the MuppetsVision theatre and continue walking straight back past the Muppet merchandise shop. You will run right into the garage. Appearance times due change during the week, so be sure to check your park guide so the boys don't miss them.

Wishing you all a magical time!
