Speaking of planning, I’m so excited that you are planning to take advantage of your water park benefit on check-in day this summer. We did it once last year, and it really was the perfect way to orient our little Mouseketeers to vacation. Not only was it fun, but we were able to relax and kick off our first full day ready for magic.
As I’m sure you are aware, policies can change from year to year, so I’m glad you checked in with us about umbrella rentals, since it's been a while since you last experienced this. I was so lucky to chat with Luciana and Pearson, two incredible Cast Members, who shared that the policy has not changed this year. No matter if you rent an umbrella at
Typhoon Lagoon or
Blizzard Beach, you can check in to claim your umbrella at the designated reservation time or anytime after that. So even if you arrive at noon, your umbrella will still be available. If you want to be on the safe side, Carrie, you can still call
Tours and Recreation to ask for a note to be placed on your reservation to inform them of your arrival time, but you should be good to go!
