    HI, My family and I will be visiting Walt DIsney World In June and have purchased our tickets online. We are not staying at a WDW resort but we would still like to use the magic band instead of the card. Does anyone know the price to purchase the band

    Hi Dana!  Your trip will be here before you know it,  I bet you are getting really excited!  Since you are not staying at a Walt Disney World Resort you will be able to purchase MagicBands for your family at select merchandise locations in  the four theme parks, and Downtown Disney.   The current price for a Magic Band is $12.95 plus tax.   MagicBands are available in seven colors- red, orange, yellow, green, blue, pink, and my favorite iconic gray.    Once your MagicBand is purchased a Cast Member will make sure all your ticket media is linked to your newest Disney accessory.
