Welcome to planDisney, Mary. We love to help Guests make magic on their
Disney vacations!
The maximum number of Guests in
Port Orleans Resort - Riverside rooms with a fifth sleeper is 5 Guests (with one sleeping in the child-size pull-down bed) and one infant in a crib. So, you will not be able to book this room type for your family. But don't worry, there are plenty of great options for you. My favorite would be the Family Suites at
Disney's Art of Animation Resort. They are colorful and uniquely themed, with two (yes, two) bathrooms!
Some other options are the Family Suites at
Disney's All-Star Music Resort, which will likely be your most economical choice for a family of 6 staying at a
Disney Resorts Collection Hotel. And the one I personally want to try out one day is
The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort. I was able to visit one that some of my fellow
planDisney panelists were staying in, and it was just wonderful. You really feel like you're staying in a very peaceful escape in the middle of the Most Magical Place on Earth.
Other options you may want to consider are some of the
Deluxe Villas. You'll want to look into 2-Bedroom Villas or larger. These really feel like a home away from home with in-room laundry, full kitchens, and multiple bathrooms. You can also look into the
Good Neighbor Hotels to see what options they might have to accommodate your family.
Mary, no matter what room type you choose, you're bound to have a wonderful time at the resort. Be sure to stay tuned to the
Disney Parks Blog to see if the
EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival will be offered when you're there in March. It's become a favorite! Until then, you can
send any additional questions to me, and I'd be happy to answer them!
Sending a bunch of pixie dust your way,
Matt
