Hello! To make a reservation for something such as Droid Depot, which can be done 60 days out, do I need to have purchased a park pass for that date or can I purchase the park pass later? Thanks!

Hey there, Richard! Or, as the residents of Batuu say, “Bright suns!”

It sounds like you have some fun plans to explore a galaxy far, far away at Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge at Hollywood Studios. Let's make sure you have all the info you need for an amazing Walt Disney World adventure!

I’m happy to report that you can make a reservation for the Droid Depot or other enchanting extras at Walt Disney World without purchasing park tickets first. But remember! Valid admission (i.e., a theme park ticket) is required for you to go to the Droid Depot and any other reservations located inside the theme parks, as is a theme park reservation if it’s required by your admission type.

My kiddos had a great time building droids a couple of visits back, and they’re such a fun and unique souvenir to bring back home. If you’re looking for other things to do around Black Spire Outpost, I would strongly recommend checking out Oga’s Cantina to enjoy a beverage and some tunes from DJ R-3Z. A Yub Nub, a Thruster Roasted Bantha Flatbread, and a spot at the cantina bar are a great way to beat the heat of Batuu’s 3 suns.

I hope this info is helpful, Richard. Don’t hesitate to come back if you have more vacation planning questions. You’re as welcome as can be at planDisney!

Magical travels and may the Force be with you!
