My family will be visiting July 4th 2011 and was wanting to know times for fireworks in the Magic Kingdom. I am surprised to see no reference to the holiday at all in the calendar. Extra magic hours that night in the Kingdom would have been great to

    Hi Tim!

Don't give up hope yet! With the 4th of July being quite a bit away still (time-wise), we may just see Disney World announce some special events for the holiday. While I have no insider information, I do know that they've celebrated this holiday with special events and fireworks in the past.

In fact, just to give you an idea of park hours and events, I am providing this link to the Disney Park's Blog announcement of 4th of July events. While events may not be the same in 2011, they do give an idea of past events and what may happen!

Hope this helps a little! AND, I hope they announce some spectacular events for you and the other park guests who are celebrating Independence Day!!
