Hi, my family will be visiting Disney world this May and I was wondering how dining works for my 2.5 year old. Are we required to purchase him a meal at sit down meals and buffets or will we be able to share our portions with him?

Traveling to WDW with a child under age three is great because so much of the vacation is free for the child. Kids under three get into the theme parks for free. They are also able to dine for free in many circumstances. At buffet and family style restaurants, you can feed you child from the general food line at no charge. At menu-based restaurants, you are welcome to share the food you've ordered with your child. However, if you want additional items for your son, you would have to pay for them.

    Have a great trip!
