Hi! My family will be visiting Disney World in March/April 2024 and some of us are interested in the cake decorating class at Amorette’s Patisserie at Disney Springs. Can we use Disney gift cards to pay for the reservation for this experience? Thanks!

Welcome to planDisney, Janette, where we invite you to pull up a chair as the dining room proudly presents....your cake! Personally, I'm not much of a baker. So my cake would turn out like the lopsided sugary mess baked by Flora, Fauna, and Merryweather in Sleeping Beauty! But I'm sure your family will create a magnificent and magical masterpiece on your visit to Walt Disney World Resort next year. So let's check into some details about this experience!

Amorette's Patisserie Cake Decorating Experience at Disney Springs looks like so much fun! Enchanting Extras like this are wonderful shared activities for families. I've done several tours and art projects on some recent Disney visits, and they are among my most treasured memories. I spoke to a friendly Cast Member at Amorette's Patisserie, and she told me that you should be able to enter your Disney Gift Card information during the online checkout process when you book the experience. If you have trouble, I suggest you call the reservation line at Amorette's.

Remember that you can book the cake decorating for up to two people per cake. So if you have more than two people, you will make more than one reservation. And reservations can be made online 60 days in advance, so mark your calendar! Allow about 90 minutes to decorate your creation, and know that children must be accompanied by an adult.

I can almost taste the sweet buttery goodness of your masterpiece, Janette! I wish I could be your taste tester! Please stop by planDisney anytime with your questions.

    Magic awaits,
    Elaine
