My family will be visiting Disney World in January 2010. I would like to eat at somewhere a little romantic. Would love to eat where I can see the animals at Animal Kingdom or something Italy related in Epcot. Any ideas?

Hi, Kim!  You might really enjoy the new restaurant at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge.  The restaurant, called Sanaa, is located in the Kidani Village at the Villas, and my husband and I enjoyed a romantic date night here on our last trip.  The food was excellent, the service we had on that visit was incredible (it had been a little slow on one other visit, but this time more than made up for that!), and the menu diverse.  But the best thing is that the animals on the savanna are virtually right there at your window!  We really enjoyed having the giraffes just outside, munching happily on the tree leaves while we enjoyed our meal.

The sit down restaurant at EPCOT in the Italy section of the World Showcase is called Tutto Italia.  They have some delicious pasta dishes, and the lamb I had on a visit a few months ago was exceptional.  It is, of course, in the theme park, but it has a very elegant atmosphere, which lends itself well to a romantic meal for two.

    Have a great vacation!
