My family will be visiting Disney in a few weeks. I made a dining reservation at the Coral Reef Restaurant at Epcot; however, after reviewing the menu I didn't see any choices for my children. They are 6 and 3. Is this a good place to have dinner?

Hi, Christa!  The Coral Reef restaurant does offer a children's menu.  You will find kid favorites like pizza and meaty macaroni on the menu, as well as things like grilled chicken, grilled mahi mahi, or a grilled fish of the day.  They do complete meals for kids, like the pizza, which comes with apple slices and veggies, or you can choose your own appetizer, entree and dessert.

The Coral Reef is a great option for children, as they can see all around them the beautiful underwater creatures.  If the menu doesn't seem like it offers something your children will eat, talk with your server.  I know of families who have gone and been able to get just buttered macaroni for their children, or they have shared a meal between two children - like the steak dinner that is on the regular menu.  I like to check out allears.net to go over the menus before I take my kids to eat anywhere at Walt Disney World.  It helps me to be prepared with choices for them.

    Have a wonderful vacation!
