We are a family of 4 and will be visiting in Aug 2015. We may have a fifth person traveling with us, but won't know for sure until closer to our arrival. When making our ADRs should I reserve for 5 even though the person may not be able to come?

    Greetings Lisa!

Congratulations on your Walt Disney World vacation!  This is a great question.  Being from Georgia, I frequently visit Walt Disney World with both family and friends. That being said, I have often found myself needing to increase or decrease the number of Guests on an Advanced Dining Reservation. Based on my own personal experience, I recommend booking your Advanced Dining Reservations for five Guests. I have always found it to be much easier to decrease the number of Guests in our party, rather than increasing the number. When I have needed to decrease the number of Guests in our dining party, I simply called Disney Dining at (407) WDW-DINE or (407) 939-3463 to modify my existing Advanced Dining Reservation.

I hope this helps. Please don't hesitate to stop by again with any additional questions that you may have. Best wishes for a magical trip, Lisa!

    Bon Appétit,
    Jodie
