Hello Jara! Thanks for stopping by planDisney, we're so glad you're here!
I'm so glad you are planning ahead to avoid last minute surprises during your trip, especially when the parks are scheduled to close early. It looks like there are several
Disneyland After Dark: Disney Channel Nite events taking place during your trip, and Disneyland Park will close early to Guests without a special event ticket.
The
entertainment schedule will be your best planning tool, and it looks like the schedule for April is not released yet, but I would keep checking back as your trip approaches. I did take a look at the entertainment schedule during a different Disneyland After Dark event, and it looks like
Wondrous Journeys with Projections was moved up to 7:30 PM to allow regular park Guests the chance to enjoy this heartfelt nighttime spectacular. There are no guarantees that it will follow the same schedule for April, but I'm hopeful for you, and recommend to keep checking back as your trip gets closer.
An option for those days that Disneyland Park will close earlier than normal is to spend the day at Disney California Adventure Park, or add the
Park Hopper option to your theme park tickets. The Park Hopper option will allow Guests to enjoy both parks that day, and you could start your day over at Disneyland Park (you will need to make a corresponding
theme park reservation) and then cross over to California Adventure later in the day. You could even catch their nighttime spectacular,
World of Color Happiness! I hope these tips are helpful as your vacation gets closer, Jara. Feel free to
come back and ask me any other questions, I'm wishing you and your family a wonderful trip full of core memories!
Have a magical day!
Melissa
