Hi there, Molly! Welcome to planDisney. I’m so excited to hear that you have an upcoming visit to The Happiest Place on Earth during the
merriest time of the year. I actually visited the parks last year around your arrival date, and I can’t wait to share my experience with you.
Last year, my family and I attended
Oogie Boogie Bash on Halloween night. Since it was the last night for all the spooky festivities, I was pleasantly surprised to see Christmas beginning to pop up here and there throughout California Adventure. While it seemed strange to be in coordinating Cars costumes with my family while shopping for holiday mugs, I can assure you that holiday merchandise was already out on full display.
The following day, we had a Park Hopper ticket for both parks, and being the first of November, the snowcapped turrets on Sleeping Beauty Castle were sparkling in the California sunshine. A good amount of the fall decorations had come down from the night before too. For a real dose of both spooky and festive,
Haunted Mansion Holiday was already celebrating both Christmas and Halloween! This attraction should be up and running for your arrival. As the days go by, there will be more and more snippets of Christmas decor as we get closer to the official start of the holiday season on November 13th!
Molly, thank you so much for visiting planDisney! I hope this information was helpful as you continue planning your November visit. I know you’ll encounter little bits of holiday cheer as you walk down Main Street, U.S.A.!
With a Sprinkle of Pixie Dust,
Bev
