    My family and I have visited Disneyworld for the past 3 years and we will be returning Nov. 24-29. I am trying to find new or different special events and/or entertainment for my family this year. I have 2 girls ages 10 and 14. Any suggestions? Thanks!

    You are in a good place, as your daughters are old enough to do a lot of the fun extras that younger kids might be age-restricted from doing.

    My first recommendation would be the Wild Africa Trek. It is not inexpensive, but you get a lot for your money. Think of it as a combination of backstage tour, lunch, thrill experiences, and direct and unfettered (almost) access to the animal areas.

    Here are the requirements of the Trek;

    • Participants must be at least 8 years old (check!)
    • They must be at least 48 inches tall
    • They must weigh at least 45 pounds, and no more than 310
    • You all have to wear close-toed shoes with a backstrap.
