My family would like to visit DisneyWorld in June of 2022. There are 18 of us so how soon should we begin making plans and reservations.

Hi there, Linda! Welcome to planDisney! We appreciate you taking the time to reach out and asking your wonderful Walt Disney World Resort vacation question!

With all of the amazing options available, planning a vacation to Walt Disney World Resort can be a bit overwhelming at times! This is particularly true when traveling with a large party! Fortunately, though, there are many different tools and resources that can help with this process. Not to mention, planDisney is always here to help if you have any questions!

Each of the Disney Parks destinations actually offer group rates based on the size of your party and how many guest rooms you intend on booking! At Walt Disney World Resort, if you plan on occupying at least ten guest rooms, you may book a Disney Group Getaway. This will give you access to personalized planning resources, special room rates when staying with the Disney Resort Collection, the ability to book private events at Disney theme parks and resorts, and so much more!

If you do not intend on booking at least ten guest rooms, you may still receive some Cast Member help when booking! All you will need to do is call the Disney Resort Hotel Reservations phone line and a Cast Member will gladly walk you through the process of booking your stay.

Since you are traveling with such a large party, I highly recommend booking your stay as soon as possible! At this time, availability with the Disney Resort Collection has not yet been posted for summer 2022 but you will want to keep an eye out for when it does. Additionally, you will also want to begin planning with dining locations your entire party will want to eat together. This way, you can make your advanced dining reservations as soon as this comes available as well.

Best of luck as you continue to plan your family visit to Walt Disney World Resort! Be sure to let us know if we can assist with planning any other portion of your stay!
