My family will be vacationing at Disney World in July, while there my daughter will be turning 7. I wanted my daughter to dine with the princess in the castle on her b-day. Do the characters just walk around or do they actually dine with the children?

Hi, Alisha!  What a magical way to celebrate your little girl's birthday!  She will truly feel like a princess, dining in Cinderella castle!

The characters do not actually sit and dine with you at the character meals.   For the most part, the characters will go from table to table, posing for photographs, signing autograph books, and participating in a little chit chat - especially with the children!  They typically spend a few minutes at each table, then they move on to another table.  Usually, by the time you are finished with your meal, you have seen all of the characters.

I hope your little princess has a wonderful birthday celebration!  And just in case you need it, here is the phone number to make your advanced dining reservations 407-WDW-DINE.
