My family is vacationing at Disney World Dec 12-20 staying at the Boardwalk. We have reservations for the Desert Party at the Tomorrow land Terrace restaurant at 8:50 pm Sunday Dec. 14 and it looks like the Magic Kingdom closes at 7:00 pm. will be okay?

    Hi Dave,

You will be visiting the Walt Disney World Resorts during a wonderful time of the year. You will have the extra magic of the holiday season to make it extra special.

You are correct that Magic Kingdom does close at 7:00 pm on December 14. This is because it is Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party will be held on this night. In order for you to dine at the Dessert Party, you will need to purchase a ticket to Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party.

The park is open only to guests who have a ticket to the party after 7:00 pm. If you do not want to pay for the extra ticket, you will not be able to attend the Dessert Party. When my family attends one of these parties, we spend the day at the pool and then head to Magic Kingdom at 4:00 to start enjoying the fun.

    Wishing you a magical vacation!
